Blood Money Intro
Our first game intro!
Blood Money was a DMA design game (of the arcade genre) released by Psygnosis for the Commodore Amiga in 1989.
The intro to the game was nothing short of miraculous. With the serious deep voice announcing that "First there was Menace...." it grabbed your attention straight away.
Moving onto the pumping house soundtrack and 3D asteroid field this game intro truly was a sight to behold.
As you moved out of the field and towards the planets you were already excited, your trigger finger ready for some all out arcade game action.
This game intro really was something special back in 1989 - and was something that was talked about in Amiga gaming circles. If I remember rightly the intro itself took up a full disc - with the game being loaded in on disc 2!
It's a pity that the game itself was decidedly average - it did not quite match up to the expectations set by the intro.
Still, this one goes down as a classic game intro. Have a look and see if you can find the blooood moneeeeyy.
